The Dancer

As a dancer, movement is reflecting emotions coming from a deep place within a person’s body and soul. All of this is evoked by sound, and the electromagnetic pulse that will knock any dancer to the floor. Considering the Bboy or House Dancer, the music will move you, you are not moving to the music.

When music is being played in a dark room, at the perfect decibel level, it adds a euphoric sense of belonging. In addition to the smoke from dry ice on some ocassions, and other people there… some standing around with a cup of their favorite drink in hand, smiling; but not isolated by this are frequencies being felt, which is accompanied by the pulsating red, purple, green & sometimes blue lights surrounding the reflections of your partners beautiful face. There is no other place you could imagine being, except there, in that moment… that space, that exact time. Yes… all of this… is an equanimity that is often unexplainable, but always appreciated…. even if the person you invite doesn’t quite get it.

Why?

Simple. Nothing else matters.
